By getting people to sign up for your own mailing lists, it allows you to communicate with them and share with them new opportunities, as well as feed the new relationships you are developing. It is very important to sign up for other mailing lists, as they often are the best sources for fresh, new opportunities. Pass these on to your own email list, and your list will do the same for their own lists.

If you’re going after goals that don’t make you jump out of bed in the morning and enthusiastically cheer, «Time to get to work on those goals!» (and I’m only half kidding there) then you’re not working on your real goals.
